StarVie Eternal by Sanyo Gutierrez 2027 Padel Racket

The StarVie Eternal 2027 is a hybrid-shape racket for semi-pro and pro level players with a versatile game. It carries Sanyo Gutiérrez's signature, and its biggest feature is a balance you set yourself, using weighted rubbers that fit into the frame and come in the box.

• Shape: Hybrid
• Weight: 350 to 370 g
• Balance: Medium, adjustable with the included weights
• Thickness: 38 mm
• Hitting surface: 18K Carbon Hybrid
• Core: M-EVA Balance, medium-hard
• Level: Semi-pro and professional
• Playing style: Versatile

The Power Balance system is built into the frame's profile. Fit the heavier rubbers to push the balance toward power, or use the lighter ones to keep it back for control. The racket stays the same otherwise, so one frame covers both setups.

The face is 18K Carbon Hybrid, an intermediate-density carbon StarVie uses to balance power with comfort. Behind it sits the M-EVA Balance core, a medium-hard rubber that gives the Eternal a medium feel. The new hybrid mould gives a wide sweet spot, and the Spin Boost Tech surface is rough to the touch, which helps you put spin on the ball.

The rest of the technology sits in the frame and handle. Aero Drive is an air chamber that cuts drag so the racket swings faster. V-Force Bridge is a structure in the heart that spreads the force of each impact and keeps the head stable. Hexa Cell gives the profile a hexagonal structure that strengthens the frame against hard hits. At the handle, A-Shock is an anti-vibration rubber and the Z-Shock grip absorbs more of the shock, while the Longer Handgrip gives you extra length for a better hold and more power.

If you like the adjustable balance but prefer a teardrop head, the StarVie Raptor+ has the same Power Balance system and the same M-EVA Balance core. Attacking players who want a hybrid with a higher balance and a hard rubber should look at the Black Titan. For intermediate players who like the hybrid shape, StarVie makes the Metheora+ for that level.
