Description
The StarVie Raptor+ 2027 is a teardrop padel racket for advanced players with an all-court game, built on a new mould for 2027. It pairs a 3D Carbon face with medium-hard rubber and adds Power Balance, a set of small weights that change how the racket carries its mass.
- Shape: Teardrop
- Weight: 350 to 370 g
- Balance: Medium, adjustable with Power Balance weights
- Thickness: 38 mm
- Hitting surface: 3D Carbon
- Core: M-Eva Balance rubber, medium-hard
- Level: Professional and semi-pro
- Included: Power Balance weights of different grams
Power Balance is the biggest change from the previous Raptor+, which used StarVie's Dynamic Star system for small balance shifts. On the 2027 model the weights press into marked spots near the top of the frame. Fit them when you want more weight behind smashes and flat drives, and leave them off when you want the head moving faster at the net.
The 3D Carbon face is a three-dimensional carbon lattice designed to keep the racket stable and responsive on contact, and the Spin Boost Tech texture on its surface adds bite for slice and topspin. Behind it, the M-Eva Balance rubber is medium-hard. It's firm enough to send the ball away with pace on a full swing and soft enough to keep touch shots under control. Inside, the Tri-Force Core uses a structure running in three directions to keep the response steady on impact.
The frame has a Hexa Cell profile, a hexagonal structure that reinforces it against impacts, and Air Booster shaping that helps the racket move through the air faster on the swing. The handle is longer than standard for a fuller hold and more leverage, with Z-Shock in the grip and A-Shock rubber in the handle to cut down vibration.
If you want Power Balance in a more attacking shape, the diamond-shaped Triton T-One uses the same system. Intermediate players who like the Raptor+'s teardrop shape can look at the StarVie Drax+ 2027, which has a 12K Carbon Hyper face and the same M-Eva Balance rubber.
