The comfort comes mainly from the face material. Fibrix mixes flexible glass fibre with stiffer carbon, which softens the impact feel compared to a full carbon face without giving up much control.

The CurvAktiv side profile carries roughly 11 degrees more twist than the standard Vertex 05's geometry, for a total incline near 31.6 degrees. That deeper, variable-section twist spreads vibration more evenly through the frame, so it holds its structural stability while still responding quickly at contact.

An enlarged Air Power channel along the lower frame, roughly 50 percent bigger than the Air React channel it replaces, cuts weight and reduces drag. Combined with the CurvAktiv profile it improves aerodynamics by up to 23 percent, which shows up as a faster swing and quicker recovery between shots.

Inside, the redesigned Vertex Core bridge uses a more triangular geometry to spread load more evenly across the frame, cutting vibration and torsion while adding rigidity. The base of the heart has been thickened and the top slightly widened, tightening the connection between frame and hitting surface for a steadier strike from both the baseline and the net.

Four Ease Vibe dampeners sit in dedicated holes around the frame. Testing at the Polytechnic University of Madrid found they absorb up to 49 percent of impact vibration, and their spring-shaped design also lets you fine-tune feel and balance to your own swing.

Custom Weight gel-tipped plates, 3 g each, fit into four slots at the top of the frame, so you can add up to 12 g and shift the balance point by as much as 1 cm. The Top Spin surface adds extra grain to the outer layer for a firmer bite on the ball when generating slice or heavy topspin, and holds that grip longer than a smooth face.

The Multieva core is built as three EVA layers of different densities: two firmer outer layers for explosive power on hard-hit shots, with a softer inner layer that absorbs shock and adds forgiveness on slower touches near the net.
