The tread combines two patterns for different jobs. The herringbone sections give you traction when you push off, while the small studs help the shoe grip and release as you slide sideways or pivot, which is most of what happens on a padel court.

Inside the midsole, the CATAPULT insert does double duty. It firms up the midfoot so the shoe resists twisting under load, and it adds some drive to your push-off when you move toward the ball.
